I was contacted by The New Yorker recently who wanted me to make an Illustration to accompany a review written by Anthony Lane for the movie "Anatomy of a Fall".

I was really inspired by the mood in this movie so I got straight into sketching in color. Usually I tend to start with line sketches but for this one it felt natural working in color from the beginning to capture the light and cinematic feel.

So I thought it could be fun showing some process with these sketches that lead to the final Illustration that ended up in the magazine. Thank´s for watching!
